An Ayurvedic product label is more than a list of ingredients. It brings together the formulation, pack size, directions and cautions that help you understand how a product is intended to be used.

Start with the formulation

Look for the product format first: capsule, tablet, syrup, oil or herbal ras. The format tells you how the product is presented and how its directions should be read.

Read the composition

Composition lists the ingredients and their stated quantities. At Brijnath Ayurved, the product catalogue and labels use ingredient-by-ingredient quantities for many formulations. For example, Brij Power Capsule lists Ashwagandha (100 mg), Shatavari (100 mg), Musli (100 mg), Triphala (50 mg), Trikuta (25 mg), Ras Sindur (25 mg), Vidarikand (50 mg) and Draksha (50 mg).

Check the pack size

Pack sizes vary by formulation. Some capsule products are available in 30, 60 and 500 capsules, while liquids may be offered in 100 ml, 200 ml or 500 ml formats. Always select the pack size shown for the product you are purchasing.

Follow the label

Directions, storage instructions and cautions belong to the individual product. When a product advises consultation with a qualified Ayurvedic physician, follow that guidance rather than relying on a generic routine.

Simple rule: read the composition, confirm the format and pack size, then follow the product label.
